Hello Students and Parents!!!!

My name is Blake Cunningham, but most of you know me by Mr. C.  I grew up in the small town of Red Creek, NY, which is probably a town, even if you are from New York, you have never heard of.  The easiest way to explain its location is to say it is directly in the middle of Syracuse, NY and Rochester, NY near the shores of Lake Ontario.  

I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College (Rochester, NY) with a B.S. in Physical Education. I then went on to pursue my M.S. in Sport Administration and Marketing at Canisius College (Buffalo, NY). 

I have always had a passion for teaching.  If I am not teaching you can usually find me coaching. I coach a variety of different sports, but my true expertise comes in the sport of football, or as most people in America call it, soccer.   I have coached premier soccer for a number of years and have had the opportunity to coach both a state championship winning high school team, as well as a state cup and regional winning premier youth soccer team.

In my spare time I enjoy staying active and have always been involved in sports.  I played baseball, basketball, soccer, track and field, and boxing through high school, and continued on with soccer into college at the NCAA Division 1 and NAIA Division II levels.  I went as high as playing professional indoor soccer, and then decided that teaching was my true calling.  I still play soccer a number of nights each week and try to stay active in the sporting community.   My favorite teams are Manchester United (EPL), the Buffalo Bills (NFL), the New York Knicks (NBA), the Buffalo Sabres (NHL), and the New York Yankees (MLB).  My favorite college team in all sports is the Syracuse Orange, I have been a die hard Orange fan since I was a kid.    I even named my dog Otto after the Syracuse Mascot.  He is a beagle/german sheperd mix (I know it is a very odd mix).
